2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Hebrews 10:24-25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
First and foremost, get into a fellowship of like-minded believers. We know just the place! You can contact us by calling us at 407-273-3000 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is very important that you go somewhere that you can get Godly guidance, encouragement, and accountability. Now that Satan can no longer prevent your salvation, he can only attempt to dilute your testimony by bringing back all of those old temptations and philosophies. If that doesn’t work, he will attempt to steal your joy through pressure or heartache. Having a body of believers to help you, support you, pray for you, and give you words of encouragement and strength will help you to grow in your personal walk with God. After all, you will be spending eternity with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Why not start getting to know them now?
God knows what you're dealing with in life, and He's waiting for you to give Him your All.
Romans 10:9-10 – "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Acts 16:30-31 - And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
It takes an inner decision and an outward confession. Believe that Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross and that God has raised him from the dead. And confess that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour.
Congratulations! You have just made Jesus your Saviour by believing and confessing Romans 10:9-10. It’s that simple. But how do I make him Lord? We make Jesus Lord by deciding to "repent" or turn away from our old lifestyles. We decide that he is now our boss and that we don’t need those old habits. God’s Word says that we become a "new creature"… that we "put off the old man" and put on the new. We have a new calling, a new "citizenship", a new outlook on life.
We know that we are now going to Heaven and there is nothing that Satan can do about it. Praise God for that!
